« AKA » répond à une exigence rare : celle d’exprimer par la puissance de médiation de l’art un indicible, qui se révèle ici un état pathologique mystérieux de l’être.
Le court-métrage met ainsi en scène une danseuse de butô, la « danse de l’âme », décrite par le maître Kazuo Ohno comme un « espace qui relie la vie et la mort ».

"AKA" responds to a rare requirement: expressing through the mediating power of art an unspeakable, mysterious pathological state of being. The short film features a butoh dancer, the "dance of the soul", described by the master Kazuo Ohno as a "space that connects life and death".
